Notable names like Pablo Picasso, poet and playwright Jean Cocteau, American actress Gloria Swanson and Eileen, Duchess of Sutherland, Mistress of the Robes to Queen Mary, all gathered at Gabrielle Chanel’s Parisian mansion.”
