I have been a small business owner almost all my adult life.  Starting in my late 20’s, I became an entrepreneur when I opened a small chain of fine diamond and jewelry stores. I was always excited and appreciated meeting the many people in my community who visited and supported my business by making purchases and then recommending me to their friends and family.  Referrals are golden!

In turn, I also have focused on supporting and purchasing from local business owners in my area, whether it be a solopreneur working from home or showcasing their products at local markets, to seeking out other independently owned businesses and choosing them over bigger national chains. 

When you choose to shop local — whether it’s grabbing your morning coffee at the corner café, picking up a gift from a neighborhood boutique, hiring a local service provider, or working with your favorite Private Gemologist — you’re doing more than checking something off your to-do list.
